Nissan is preparing to stop production of the Rogue Sport next December

Cars - Nissan has announced its readiness to discontinue production of the Sport Exit as part of its lineup update. And the Japanese automaker announced that this step was mentioned by notifications to dealers with their news that production will stop in December, specifically at the end of it.

Nissan Vice President Scott Shirley said that with the introduction of the all-new Rogue and the upgraded Kicks, they will continue to effectively cover all different classes of cars. We will also be able to invest more effectively in our current cars and future generations. Shirley also said that this step will allow the company to shift production to the most profitable and high-demand cars such as the Rogue, Kicks and Pathfinder.

And while Rogue Sport will stop production at the end of December, its sales will continue until 2023. Nissan will also continue to provide after-sales services and technical support for the car until 2033. Roge Sport has not achieved the expected sales since it was introduced in 2017. Rogue Sport is between the two models Kix and Rouge. And it appeared in 2019 that the future of Rogue Sport is ambiguous.

One analyst said that the gap between the Rogue model and the Rogue Sport has widened due to Rogue's move to a more luxurious level. Also, the popularity of the Kicks and its low price put great pressure on Rogue Sport sales and reduced its sales.
