Toyota builds a GR86 prototype powered by a turbocharged engine

When the second-generation GR86 entered the market, there was a group of people who were unhappy with what the company provided, as it lacked a turbocharger with its engine, and until this moment people are still looking for the company to add this element to raise the power and open the gate of possibilities for the car on sports platforms.

Toyota GR86 Turbocharged Engine:
Today, Toyota came to them and tells them that this is not far away, as one source stated that Toyota has already built a GR86 with a turbocharger.
It was said that this version of the GR86 will be powered by the GR Corolla hatchback engine that produces 300 and 400 Nm of torque, and when this engine is applied to the GR86, it will get more power to become 372 hp and 555 Nm of torque.

It is worth noting that this turbocharged version of the GR86 is just a test model that the company has harnessed in order to conduct the necessary tests to develop synthetic fuels to fuel high-performance sports cars when electric cars take over the world.

But there is still some hope of bringing this new car and powertrain into production, with Gazoo Racing's chief engineer saying the company is still looking into the matter.
