What is the secret of the yellow color in the chassis of the new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4?
The yellow color supports the classic look of the car; This is clearly visible on the bonnet, as well as the side mirrors, side air vents and the rear spoiler, as well as the area around the rear number plate, another indication that the color tones are inspired by the 906 race car that featured a yellow insert at the rear.
The number 8, which appears in a circle on the doors and bonnet, also matches the chassis number of the race car that Tetsuo Ikuzawa drove to victory that year.
Interior accents inspired by the 1967 Fuji Speedway race car
Internally, there's even more special touches, as the custom door sills feature a design inspired by the race car that competed in the 1967 Fuji Speedway, along with a race-winning time printed red next to it.
Red contrast stitching is also found throughout the black interior, and is made even more prominent with the custom embroidered headrests that display the track name, layout and award year.
